Specialist support for Huntington's families
People impacted by Huntington’s disease need specialist services to cope with a severe and complex disease, the impact on families and a lack of awareness amongst health and social care providers and the wider public.
Scottish Huntington’s Association is the only charity in the country exclusively dedicated to providing expert and personalised support for those impacted by Huntington’s disease.
What we do
Support for adults, including carers
Our HD Specialists provide care and support for all adults within a Huntington’s family.
Support for children and young people
Our Specialist Youth Advisors provide personalised support, information, resources and more.
Support to reduce financial hardship
Our Financial Wellbeing Officers help families to maximise income through access to benefits and financial products.
Support to improve care standards
Backed by the Scottish Government, our National Care Framework outlines the care and support families should be entitled to.
